A positive locking, quick release pin, usable, not only for SHEAR applications, but for TENSION loaded structures as well! The NORCO Tensol Lock has shear strength equal to ball type quick release pins as called out in Miliatry Specifications MS17984 and NAS1332. The NORCO Tensol Lock has reusable Tension strength greater than the ultimate failure strengths of ball locking types thus preventing possible FOD occurrences.

Aircraft Battery Mini Trickle Charger
The Christie Trickle Charger (CTC)-500 is specifically designed to trickle charge vented Nickel Cadmium and Sealed Lead Acid aircraft batteries. In Constant Current Mode the charger can be configured to the Nickel Cadmium battery manufacturer’s recommended trickle charge rates or switched over to Constant Potential Mode for a Lead Acid battery. A regulated current and undervoltage set-point allows full battery capacity to be maintained while the battery is on the shelf. The CTC-500 has a European line voltage selector switch, which allows the charger to plug into 115VAC or 230VAC input power. This trickle charger is capable of handling the entire range of both Marathon’s Standard Super Power and new Micro Maintenance battery products. The CTC-500 is available through a Christie Authorized Distributor. Complete with a user manual, the CTC-500 begins trickle charging the battery when connected to an AC power outlet. The manual addresses the set-up procedure for different Amp Hour batteries. This procedure can be performed at MarathonNorco Aerospace when ordered. Christie Trickle chargers can be used to extend the active (charged) storage life of a Nickel Cadmium battery from 90 days to as much as one year. This saves operators money on batteries that time out and have to be serviced prior to being installed on the aircraft. The trickle charger provides a low, precise constant current charge that overcomes the battery’s natural rate of self-discharge. Batteries connected to a Christie Trickle charger can be removed from storage and placed directly into service without any additional charging making it a valuable tool for operators managing their spares pool

We are on every major single and twin aisle platform in the world.  Telescoping and fixed-length struts are produced in a wide variety of sizes, shapes, lengths and special features, making them well suited for many industrial, commercial, marine and aviation applications.  MarathonNorco produces struts for proof loads as heavy as 11,000 pounds and for ambient temperature conditions approaching 1,000 degrees F. Every strut features a patented locking mechanism and design flexibility with multiple end-fitting compatibility, rod end bearings, universal joints, clevis pins and more Automatic locking with Norco's patented Couplex™ lock up; no loose parts. Easy release by pulling or sliding the release collar to disengage the Couplex™ pin from the receiver. Optimum weight/strength rations for tension/compression loads. MarathonNorco's Interlocks simple construction allows for design flexibility with no loose parts and designed to provide quick connect and disconnect capabilities. The devices feature automatic lock-up, are impervious to vibration and can withstand high sheer and tension loads. Actuation may be manual, hydraulic, pneumatic or electric. Interlocks are primarily utilized by ground support personal during maintenance.  Interlocks can be clipped into receivers mounted to the wing or fuselage to provide fall arrest.  Interlocks and receivers can also be used as part of a tie-down or anchorage system for equipment and rotary aircraft.

The TSP-408L-1 is a 20-cell SUPERPOWER® battery, with a nominal voltage of 25.2 volts, a nominal capacity of 40 Ah and weighs a maximum 76.5 pounds.  The Marathon Super Power  battery is a greatly improved nickel-cadmium (Ni-Cd) battery that features: High porosity sintered carbonyl Nickel electrodes utilizing a Nickel-Steel foil substrate for improved current collection and increased cell reliability. Long life, durable micro porous polypropylene gas barrier membrane of proven durability in hot oxidizing environment has eliminated the classic “Thermal Run-a-way” problem with early Nickel Cadmium batteries.
